CARLA WAGNER
Carla graduated in 2002 from Augustana College with a degree in Biology, and a concentration in Environmental Science. She brings expertise from internships with the National Park Service in New Mexico and the Natural Resource Conservation Service in western Illinois. Ms. Wagner is now a qualified airport wildlife biologist, having recently completed the Wildlife Hazard Management Workshop at Embry-Riddle in Florida.
Carla was a presenter on the topic of Managing Wildlife at Business Aviation Airports at the International Bird Strike Committee Conference 2006 held in Athens, Greece. Carla is acknowledged as an expert on the science of managing Canada Geese, and has been invited to give many presentations on the subject.
Carla also holds an Illinois license for egg depredation and is Illinois department of Public Health licensed for Flight Control Plus application and structural modification for nuisance bird management. She has extensive experience in animal care. Carla is also a dog lover and trainer and has attended numerous ClickerExpos for dog training. She is a member of the Wildlife Society and has attended the SOAR Raptor Management Seminar in 2006.
